Alanya Guide 360 (alanyaguide360.com) is an independent, free travel guide to Alanya, Turkey. Contact: [email protected].
We do not sell anything, run user accounts, or ask you to submit personal data. This page explains the little data that is processed when you use the site.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corp.) to understand which pages are useful. These tools set cookies and collect usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and — for Clarity — anonymised interaction data like clicks and scrolling. We do not use this data to identify you or for advertising.
You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with a content blocker; the site keeps working without them. Google's and Microsoft's own privacy policies: policies.google.com/privacy, privacy.microsoft.com.
Map, weather and fonts
The interactive map is provided by Google Maps; loading it sends your IP address and map interactions to Google. Live weather, sea and sunrise data are loaded from Open-Meteo and sunrise-sunset.org. Fonts may be loaded from Google Fonts. These services receive your IP address as part of normal web requests.
If you tap “my location”, your browser asks for permission and your position is used only in your browser to show you on the map — we never receive or store it.
Cookies and local storage
Alanya Guide 360 itself sets no tracking cookies. The only cookies come from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (described above). The offline mode (service worker) stores copies of pages in your browser so the guide works without internet; you can clear this in your browser settings.
Donations and external links
Donations are handled entirely by the payment provider you choose (e.g. Ko-fi or PayPal) under their privacy policies — we never see your card details. Links to restaurants, hotels and other websites lead to sites we do not control.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, UK or Turkey (KVKK), you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you and to object to processing. Because we do not hold personal data ourselves, most requests are best directed at Google or Microsoft, but you can always email us and we will help.
