Çıtır Gözleme is a family-run café located close to the Dim Cay reservoir area, and we think it's one of those places that's worth visiting as much for the setting as for the food. The view from this café is genuinely stunning — you get a sweeping look over the valley and the surrounding mountains, the kind of panorama that makes you glad you made the effort to get there. The menu is limited and homemade in style, with gözleme (a traditional Turkish flatbread filled with cheese or potato) and tea being the main draw. The food is simple but satisfying, and there's something particularly pleasant about eating here with such a dramatic backdrop. Getting here requires either a car or a bus to the last stop followed by a steep uphill walk. One practical note: when we visited, payment was cash only, so come prepared. If you're combining a visit to Dim Cave or the Dim Cay river restaurants with a day trip from Alanya, this café makes a lovely additional stop.
