Hancı Bistro and Patisserie is one of the more established restaurant chains in Alanya, with a menu that covers Turkish cuisine, European dishes, and an impressive selection of desserts. We like coming here specifically for the Turkish options and the sweet things — the desserts are a genuine highlight and worth trying on their own. We enjoy sitting outside or on the second-floor balcony when the weather allows, as it gives a pleasant view over the busy street below. To be honest, not everything on the menu hits the same mark: on our most recent visit, the borsch and pizza were underwhelming, the chicken wrap was tougher than we’d have liked, though the Caesar salad was tasty. Hancı is located near the Alanya Big Bazaar and Ataturk Square area, making it convenient to combine with a shopping trip or sightseeing around central Alanya. One practical note is that orders can take some time to arrive, so it’s better suited to a leisurely sit-down meal than a quick bite.
