Mackbear Coffee is a decent coffee spot in the Mahmutlar area of Alanya, and we found it a comfortable and pleasant place to stop for a break. The coffee was good — we’re not specialists, but it was enjoyable — and the dessert selection was appealing. The interior has a nice feel: well-designed without being overdone. One minor note is that the dessert variety could be wider, and on some visits the selection was a bit thin. But for a coffee in this part of Alanya Turkey, it does the job well. If you’re staying in Mahmutlar or exploring the eastern side of the Alanya district, Mackbear gives you a comfortable, clean alternative to the bigger chains like Starbucks. The location is near the local beach and within easy reach of the markets and restaurants that make Mahmutlar a popular base for visitors to Alanya. We’d recommend it as a solid neighbourhood café option, particularly if you’re spending a few days in Mahmutlar rather than central Alanya. The menu also offers a few food items beyond coffee if you want something light.
