The Gazipaşa Viewpoint near the Natural Pool is, in our opinion, one of the most beautiful places we have seen anywhere in Turkey — and we're not exaggerating when we say that. The coastline view from this elevated point is absolutely spectacular, with the turquoise water below forming a natural pool that looks almost impossibly picturesque against the rocky landscape. The best time to visit, based on our experience, is around 7pm in the evening when the light is warm and the crowds have thinned a little. Getting here requires a drive from Alanya along a steep, winding road that is narrow in sections and operates effectively as one-way traffic in places — take it carefully and you'll be fine. Parking at the top is very limited, so arriving early or on a quieter day helps. It's roughly an hour's drive east of Alanya city centre, toward Gazipasha. If you're planning any day trips from Alanya, this viewpoint is one we'd rank among the very best for sheer scenic impact.
